Calling Rain!

 I had originally planned to do a nature meditation for Summer Solstice, but I already felt I knew what nature was saying. It is hot and dry and we need rain! So instead I made up a rain ritual. 

Lapis, moonstone, a moonstone orgone point, bowl of water, lemon balm, stone cat on my tree of life carved selenite plate. I chose the moonstone, lapis and lemon balm because they all supposedly are water elements. I sprinkled water over the plate using the lemon balm and meditated on rain while using the rain stick over it. I also wore the tree of life pendant I got from Tamed Wild and 2 moonstone and 1 lapis ring.

Will it do any good? Well, it can't hurt. Nothing, but sunshine forecast for the next few days so I may need to try again.

  A few weeks back I saw cute obsidian aliens like Pablo on one of those overpriced new agey sites. They wanted $45 dollars, plus shipping! I didn't like it that much so I checked Etsy and found I could get the exact same one from China for under $20 including shipping. He arrived today! I was sitting outside and enjoying rubbing his smooth cool head, not really thinking of anything and all of the sudden the name Pablo popped into my mind! I just assumed he was telling me his name. I would expect a Chinese name, but no that is what came into my head and it was pronounced correctly. Right now I am planning on keeping Pablo next to my bed, which may or may not be a good idea. I wait to see if he has anything else to say!  Addendum: I looked up the meaning of the name Pablo and it was "small and humble." As you can see he is quite small.

Subscription Boxes, part 2: Ipsy

 COVID has been tough on all of us! Not being able to go out shopping for any girlie stuff I subscribed to Ipsy about a year ago.  For those of you who don't know, Ipsy sends out a monthly subscription bag with about 5 items. Most are sample size, but some are full sized. It is $12 per month and if you consider most full sized beauty products (of a good brand) can easily be $10, it is a good deal. Plus, you get to try a lot of new products that you wouldn't necessarily want to buy just to try them.  I just love the little bags so much! You would think getting one a month would be too much, but I use them for all sorts of stuff, not just cosmetics. They are great for crafting supplies, especially if you have a lot of small stuff like beads or even crochet supplies like hooks and needles.
